I’m very happy that we found your class when we did because it helped a great deal.  I’m ashamed to admit that my husband and I didn’t practice nearly as much as we were supposed to.  Even so, the principles we learned came in handy for me when I was in labor.  I just focused on relaxing all my muscles and breathing deeply every time I had a contraction.  I still experienced some pain, but I was able to handle it very well I think.  The best thing was that my entire labor from start to finish was less than four hours.  The baby came out so fast that I did have two very small tears, but they healed within a day.  I bled very little and now, two weeks later, I’m fully recovered.  We had our baby on the 19th of October at home in Springville.  We were expecting a boy, but apparently God has a different view on ultrasounds than doctors do because we got a beautiful little girl, who we named Amelia Rose.  Both my husband and I are very pleased with our decision to birth at home, with no doctors or nurses running around and bothering us.  I’m especially glad we were able to hold little Amelia without being rushed to hand her off to a nurse to be cleaned and inspected.  It made for a much more relaxed atmosphere and both my husband and I agree that this is the way we are doing it from now on.  Thank you so much for giving us the tools we needed to have a safe, happy and memorable birthing experience!
