Our Birthing went very well. Cecilia was able to use the hypnobirthing techniques to get her through labor without any pain medications, At IHC in Provo we actually ended up with a really great nurse. Cecilia was able to use the spa jetted tub, and a birthing ball. She didnt want to get out of the tub and said that it was b far the most relaxing. WE thought that everything was going fine, however as time progressed our daughters heart rate began to drop with each contraction. When her heart rate started to drop below 50bps Dr. Baird had to perform an emergency C-section. Our beautiful daughter Kellan Ruth Poyssick was born on July 15th. She weighed in at 7lbs 8oz.
