this photo may not be that moving to anyone but a homemaker… to us however, it recalls all the many lost battles big and small that make us want to give up or ask what is it all for? but this caption is perfect “because we’re mortals”
we’re not really mortals, but divine beings having a mortal experience. but we came here to be “mortal” to learn how to let things go, how to try again, how to take those failures and put them into perspective so that they don’t seem so huge anymore.
Anyway, its a simple yet profound picture and idea… just wanted to say thanks for your blog and the ray of sunshine it brings to all of us with similar trials to face. Your humor and appreciation for what is fun and beautiful and special just make it all that much better!
